Our Story
T.R.U.S.T. Academy is a nonprofit organization founded in April 2025. Our programs are designed to integrate rigorous academic instruction with real-world application, particularly in areas such as STEM, sports medicine, leadership development, and career readiness.
As a nonprofit organization, our focus is not on profit, but on impact. We reinvest resources directly into our students, programs, and community initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and meaningful outcomes. Through strategic partnerships, dedicated educators, and community involvement, we strive to bridge gaps in education and provide pathways to college, careers, and beyond.
Meet the Co-Founders
T.R.U.S.T. Academy was co-founded by DeAngelo Jackson and Syreeta Brown with a shared vision to create more than just a school, built to be a transformative space where students are seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
DeAngelo Jackson
Co-Founder
DeAngelo Jackson, a visionary entrepreneur born in Detroit, Michigan, brings a dynamic background in business leadership, innovation, and youth mentorship. His experience as a coach and mentor, combined with his personal journey of perseverance, fuels his passion for creating opportunities for young people to succeed both academically and personally.
Syreeta Brown
Co-Founder & Board of Directors
Syreeta Brown, an accomplished professional with over 8 years of experience as an Account Manager at Apple, brings expertise in relationship management, operational excellence, and community engagement. Beyond her corporate career, Syreeta is deeply committed to service, actively contributing through her involvement in Apple’s Diversity and Inclusion network (DNA), volunteering with Lighthouse Women’s Shelter, and serving on the Board of Directors for T.R.U.S.T. Academy.
Together, their combined experiences in leadership, education, business, and community advocacy shaped the foundation of T.R.U.S.T. Academy. They recognized a critical gap in education: students need not only strong academics, but also mentorship, structure, and real-world exposure to thrive in today’s world. What began as a vision has evolved into a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on transforming outcomes for students and families.
